CREATE A MEMOIR WITH SENIOR LINK SOCIETY

Senior Link Society has rebranded in 2023 and in doing so we have created an opportunity for seniors of Richmond to tell their story as a memoir. The Government of Canada is supporting Senior Link Society by funding our project through the New Horizons for Seniors Program. Our new senior Project Coordinator Teresa Minato will be calling the Business community and the community of seniors to be part of the “Memoirs Project”, consisting of interviews with seniors who wish to leave a legacy in the community or simply would like to leave their memoirs to their family and friends.

Invitation to a Tea and Tell will take place on June 21, August 16, September 20 and November 3, 2023 between 2-3pm.  A photo album, video and a story will be prepared by a committee volunteer. The society is inviting seniors to be part of this project. More information can be found in our Spring Newsletter on our website: https://seniorlink.ca This grant also will help society to continue their vision by producing four seasonal newsletters, both in print and online. Senior Link Society is looking for volunteers and members as the year unfolds. Our membership benefits include the temporary use of medical equipment, a personal copy of the newsletters, invitations to social events, to name a few.
